A light shade of grey, and a dash of pale pink combine to form a delicate hue of the sky, like the color of setting sun sprinkled on the surface of cement. Plain and quiet, without being dull.

OBSCURA has collaborated with Island Workbench, a homegrown brand and studio in Hong Kong, in producing this series of four cotton-cloth bags. Boasting designs based on the four standard models of the brand, they are made with a type of cloth in “powder grey” sourced specifically for this collaboration. Unlike the canvas normally used by this brand, the cotton canvas selected for this production is smoother in texture, being soft yet not so loose as to easily crumple. They come with cotton threads and cords in same color, as well as a sewn vegetable tanned leather label in naked color, embossed with both of our labels, giving birth to this unique series of bags.

This standard version of our 3-way bag comes in handy especially on days of hustle. Boasting just the right size for storage, even if you need to throw in more belongings without the time to spare for reorganizing items from the previous day, it is more than ready to welcome and accommodate all your must-haves for a day out. It will not be an issue even if they include a book or two. This backpack also comes with an adjustable shoulder strap for switching it between a messenger bag or a shoulder bag. You can even detach the strap, grab hold of the sturdy leather handle, and use it as a tote bag for a leisurely day out. Its main storage space has been sewn with a layer of lining and a zippered inner pocket for storing small items.

OBSCURA與香港原創品牌工作室「島中坊研」合作，生產了四款棉布包。以品牌的四個標準款式為基礎，再特地為我們蒐羅到這種粉末灰（Powder grey）的布料，有別於品牌往常使用的帆布質料，這次的棉質帆布較光滑幼細，柔軟卻不會鬆垮。配以同色系棉線和棉繩，最後縫上裸色植鞣皮革標籤，於上壓印了彼此的品牌標誌，製成這獨一無二的包包系列。

標準版本的三用背包尤其適合急急忙忙的日子，適中的體積容量，即使沒空整理前一天的雜物，卻要把新的隨身物丟進去的時候，它仍然可以敞開心包容你，裝載你外出時要用到的百寶，當中包括一兩本書也不成問題。背包另附有可調節的肩帶，可作斜背包、肩背包使用，或索性把肩帶脫去，挽住結實的皮革手把，當成為輕鬆外出用的手提包。主收納空間亦額外縫上一層裡布和一個拉鏈暗袋收納小物。
