With film art director Chang Suk Ping as our cover story, the feature showcases a rare conversation with one of Hong Kong’s most private but talented individuals in its film industry. Focus on talking about his personal life outside of work, and the inner thoughts of him on film, death, and relationship between human, also how his family background and the rise of Hong Kong new wave in the ’70s has became a very important period to him.

Obscura also sits down with traditional Chinese movie poster illustrator Tung Pui Shan, who designs and draws every movie character and scenery on his own and had introduced the new era of film art and propaganda to Hong Kong in the ’60s.

Together with featuring fashion editorials of Givenchy, Prada, and Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2013 collections, they continue to highlight the film theme of the issue.
