OBSCURA first collaborated with the artisan leather shoe brand Growold from Kyoto to produce home slippers made of leather.

A pair of well-made leather shoes can accompany its owner for a long, long time. Not only does the originally stiff leather grows softer as it ages, the shape and color of the shoes will also change by the way we use them — it is this nature of leather shoes that prompted the leather shoe artisan Ryoko Hasegawa to name her brand Growold. Hasegawa gets hands-on with every step from design to production. She made the OBSCURA home slippers with quality vegetable-tanned leather from Italy, the all natural material is completely harmless to human skin. The shoes are very comfortable to walk in thanks to the extra deep toe cap that gives a better fit.

OBSCURA X Growold offers a one-year warranty. In case of loose thread or other issues, simply send the defect item to our branch in Japan, Ryoko Hasegawa will repair for you for free. Please send us an email for any after-sales service.
