Color of abundance #1: Japanese folding fans

HK$200

Sold Out

Japanese invented folding fans more than one thousand years ago. Apart from using it for fanning purposes, it is also an indispensable tool in geisha’s dance performances. Generally speaking, this type of foldable fans are either decorated with flowery patterns, or are almost blank. The fan shown here belongs to the latter. Made in the 1960s, it has a simple and clean outlook without any inscriptions, reflecting a partially visible glow of silver.
